Whistling spider vs scorpion

Of the 2000 Australian species, the whistling spider is one of the most poisonous and the most impressive. It is roughly the size of a hand. Instead of spinning a web, it actively hunts its pretty. It will hunt anything it can sink its two hooks into and inject with its lethal venom. A bite from this hunter can kill a dog in 15 minutes. Even the scorpion is not as powerful. It only uses its poison as the last resort. Most of the time a scorpion can overcome its prey with its pincers but none of that is enough against the whistling spider.
